Google is launching a paid version of the Chrome browser.

Google has officially introduced a new version of Chrome called Chrome Enterprise Premium. This is a paid version of the browser for commercial use - for businesses that particularly care about privacy.

the company positions this browser as a business-oriented product that can provide users with greater data protection on the Internet. this is achieved through several means:

- Context-aware access control technology (“Context-aware access control”), the tasks of which include monitoring leaks, including passwords;
- the function of checking files and archives for the presence of malware;
- new security policies with simplified configuration for system administrators and the ability to create detailed reports.

In addition, Chrome Enterprise Premium offers automatic updates to protect against emerging vulnerabilities, dynamic URL filtering, site categorization, and blocking of suspicious add-ons, such as protection against hacking and phishing.

This browser will also allow administrators to limit the number of documents that other users can download or print.

Chrome Enterprise Premium is compatible with other enterprise software, such as Google Workspace, for seamless integration for employees.

For all these bonuses you will have to pay $6 (≈560 rubles) per month for each employee using Chrome Enterprise. To get started with the browser, there is a Core plan, which is free and offers general protection against phishing and malware, but lacks the main benefits of the Premium version.
