Nikola Tesla once recorded a strange signal that he believed could be from an alien.
In 1899, legendary inventor Nikola Tesla made an unusual discovery that still baffles scientists today. His equipment picked up a strange signal, which he said “terrified” him.
In his notes, Tesla described the signal as a series of beeps of unknown origin. He suggested that it might have been "intelligent management" and expressed the belief that he "was the first to hear one planet greeting another."
“Even now, at times, I can vividly recall this incident and see my apparatus as if it were really in front of me,” Tesla wrote about the incident. “My first observations positively terrified me, since there was something mysterious, if not supernatural, about them, and I was alone in my laboratory at night.”
“After some time, the thought flashed into my head that the disturbances I observed could be caused by intelligent management. Although I could not decipher their meaning, it was impossible for me to think of them as completely random. I have a constantly growing feeling that I was the first to hear one planet greeting another.”
Years later, astronomers concluded that the signal was most likely "kilometer-intensive (VLF) radiation emanating from Jupiter." However, the exact nature and origin of the signal remains a mystery.
Some scientists believe the signal could be caused by atmospheric phenomena on Jupiter. Others suggest it could be the result of the solar wind interacting with the planet's magnetic field.
Despite scientific explanations, the mystery of Tesla's signal remains unsolved. The signal has been the subject of much speculation and theory, including the possibility of alien contact. However, most scientists are skeptical about the idea of an alien signal.
